Blood Bank

The EldonCard is used in blood banks for testing and educating donors.

 It is the perfect tool with which to convey to donors the importance of becoming a “lifetime” donor.

Blood Centers in the United States have increased the volume of their ded cell collection by more than 25% by using the EldonCard ABO RhD typing test on their First Time Donors.


Collect the RIGHT type on the RIGHT collection method

When the donor arrives at the blood center or on the mobile unit they get tested with an EldonCard.

The Donor is then directed tot he apropriate collection method (Whole Blood, Platelet Apheresis, Plasma Apheresis or Double Red Blood Cell Collection) depending on their ABO RhD blood type .
